"Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God’s sight."

Luke 12:6

We believe that every member of our community, including our furry friends, deserves to be taken care of. That's why we are proud to announce the opening of our All Creation Pet Pantry. This new initiative will provide pet food and supplies to those in need, including families who may be struggling financially or seniors who may have limited access to resources. We believe that this effort is not only important for the well-being of our beloved pets, but it also aligns with our mission of serving and caring for all members of our community. We welcome donations of pet food and supplies, as well as volunteers to help distribute these items. Please join us in our efforts to make a positive impact in the lives of our community members and their furry companions

Pet Pantry Guidelines

The All Creation Pet Pantry is a community outreach ministry of Duncansville Evangelical Lutheran Church. Our goal is to help keep pets and the families who love them together by providing supplemental pet food and supplies when available.

By requesting assistance, I understand that:
  • Pet Pantry assistance is intended to supplement, rather than provide all of, my pet's ongoing food and supply needs.
  • Assistance is intended for owned household pets living with and being cared for by the applicant and their family.
  • The All Creation Pet Pantry is not intended to provide food for stray, free-roaming, or community animals. While we appreciate those who care for animals in need, our available resources are dedicated to helping families maintain the care of their household pets.
  • All food and supplies are provided based on current donations and available inventory.
  • DELC cannot guarantee a particular brand, flavor, type, or quantity of food or supplies.
  • Items received through the Pet Pantry are intended for pets living in my household and may not be sold or exchanged.
  • I am responsible for determining whether food or supplies provided are appropriate for my pet, particularly if my pet has allergies, sensitivities, or special dietary needs.
  • Pet Pantry guidelines, availability, distribution schedules, and quantities may change as the needs of the community and available resources change.
  • Due to the increased need from our recipients, we can only distribute once monthly per pet to ensure all families' pets are receiving care.
